The Med Sled Invention Dragging Kids To Safety

MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO (KTVI - FOX2now.com) - Life is really a drag when you get hurt and are too big for anyone to move. Enter the Med-Sled, an emergency transportation and evacuation device. The Rockwood School District is already using them as a preparedness tool in their schools. The sleds' primary use is in multi-level buildings and so most of these students are in middle school or high school. Because of the low drag coefficient, essentially a 125 lb. cheerleader could help an injured 200 lb. football player evacuate a building in a sled with ease!

The Med-Sled Inventor Clifford Adkins talked about how the human sled evolved.
